In the bleak
In the bleak
In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone
Snow had fallen, snow on snow
snow on snow on snow
In the bleak midwinter long long ago
Angels and archangels may have gathered there
Cherubim and seraphim rising in the air
But His mother only in her maiden bliss
Worshiped the beloved, worshiped with a kiss
All in heaven could not hold Him, nor could ask to stay
Heaven and earth shall fall away when He comes to reign
So what can I give Him, poor as I am
If I were a shepherd,I would bring a lamb
And if I were a wise man I would do my part
What can I give Him, give Him my heart
Give Him my heart
Oh I give Him my heart
Give Him my heart
All I have to give You
Give You my heart
